Student Project: Filter Creation
Objective: Apply adjustments, filters, and effects to an image, cataloging the steps, so the process could be repeated.
Design Process: I chose a photograph of a butterfly I took using an iPhone 12 Plus. I then experimented with various filters and effects until I found my favorites. I then imported each image into a nine-square, creating the final look.
Color Theory: I chose the butterfly image due to the analogous colors, creating a cooler palette.
Overall, I enjoyed this project because I learned how to create reusable filters. I can imagine this artwork being sold on canvas in stores for home decorations.
